Once again sharing the work that I do so that friends, family and potential clients know what I do as an Industrial Designer. Also if I'm lucky inspire someone to get out and create stuff themselves.
This project was completed for a client last year. Replica of a stretch of NYC residential street. 1/48th scale diorama made to be compatible with the miniatures game by Atomic Mass Games called Marvel Crisis Protocol. You should check it out. Fun game!

I provided the character illustrations. My first time drawing in comic book style. Was a lot of fun to do. A few examples of the work I did.

I hesitate at adding stuff to this page as Facebook deluges me with ads to buy ads to promote my posts. We’ll see if they rolled that back with this post.
Recently completed art that Facebook friends will have already seen. Sorry for the duplication.

Completed this Nerf gun repaint for Jonathan Lin. Quite pleased with how it turned out. I think it’s the first project I’ve done that requires an indemnity and liability clause. 😂😳😎👍😜

A project I recently completed. It’s a 6’x4’ game board intended to be used with Star Wars Legion miniatures game. It’s the third game board I’ve built with others in the works. It will be going up for sale in the coming months. Message me to discuss details of purchase. The zeta shuttle in the photos belongs to Ray Loftfield and he built it from plans I provided to him, I added some details and then I did the final paint job on it. The U-wing belongs to James M. Sandor. The bunker will be replaced with the people mover entrance since the pictured bunker belongs to Ray as well. Thanks to both of you for lending their use for the photos.
I’m always looking for new commissions so please message me if you’re interested in having any themed board designed and built for you.

FINALLY! Four plus years in the making and our tiny little two man core team (the programmer coding with myself on art) plus our publishers, production, programming, and art leads, can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and begin to tell the story.
Link is to an interview with the programmer Steve McClaire.
I will show more when I’m allowed to. Pics show off some of my work.
Close Combat was nearly done when the developer changed game engines
Switching from Unity delayed the game for years

I believe many of my Industrial Design nerd friends will be able to appreciate this. And perhaps even many of my non-design nerd friends. This came in the mail today. It’s a reprint of Humanscale that was originally printed in 1974. It’s a collection of ergonomics data that, if I’m not mistaken, originally started as part of The Measure of Man and Woman: Human Factors in Design project by Dreyfuss and Tilley. Later expanded to include a wider breadth of information, sought to sample larger swaths of humans and added these handy reference wheels. Was first made aware of this in college. This reprint by IA Collaborative came as a kickstarter style project and I bought in at $200. There were better levels but I was unable to get in quick enough. I just looked up the going rate for original copies. They go anywhere from $800 up to $10,000. I’m assuming of some of those more expensive ones were autographed or belonged to someone of note. Nevertheless to have a hard copy for immediate, on-hand, no bogus links and click-bait, use, partly for nostalgia, the price was right.

Digital artwork from this weekend. Exercise to amp up atmospherics in my works. Not the most original content/concept. Iteration on a theme at best. Fun to do and that’s what’s important. Was inspired by a boat at sea v. kraken concept art from BBC’s Myth and Monsters.
