DCSS students are GEARing Up for their future! We brought the energy, excitement, and school spirit as we celebrated National GEAR UP Week and reminded our students that their future is full of possibilities!

This pep rally is a great example of Strategic Plan Priority 2: Academic Rigor and Relevance in action. By connecting learning to students’ future goals, college opportunities, and career pathways, we are helping them see the relevance of their education and prepare for success beyond the classroom.

The future starts with preparation, and our students are ready to GEAR UP, DREAM BIG, and GO FAR!
