Kiwanis Club of Albany-Dougherty County

FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS PRESENTED:
Doug Lorber presented eight of the thirteen winners of our Foundation Scholarships as our program. The $1,000 scholarship winners are as follows:
Jordon Williams, a graduate of Westover High and will be attending Alabama State University;

Makenzie Smith, a graduate of Dougherty High and will be attending Georgia Southern University;

Aiden Charles, a graduate of Westover High and will be attending Georgia Southern University;

Madison McCray, a graduate of Terrell Academy and will be attending Alabama State University;

Emmaya Parks, a graduate of Monroe Comprehensive High and will be attending BethuneCookman University;

Allie Hemmings, a graduate of Sherwood Christian School and will be attending South Georgia State University;

Akousa Houston, a graduate of Westover High and will be attending Albany State University;

Marley Davis, a graduate of Dougherty Comprehensive High School and will be attending Clark Atlanta University.

We will host the remaining five scholarship winners at our next meeting on Monday, June 1, 2026. Doug thanked our Foundation Board for making the selections.
