Feeling the heat in your schools? We are too and we're raising the temperature on our fight to fix it.
We're working to get two bills through the state legislature. The Assembly's A.9011 and it's Senate companion, S.3397, would require districts to address heat conditions when classroom temperatures hit 82 degrees and vacate classrooms entirely at 88 degrees.

Attention all PAT members:
I apologize for the late notice, but we have scheduled a ratification vote for tomorrow, Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at 3:30 in the Intermediate cafeteria. Up for ratification:
1) Our APPR negotiating team has reached a tentative agreement with the district concerning our new APPR MOA. Please bring a copy of your APPR MOA, we will be specifically referencing page 5. Attached, please find a copy of our APPR agreement, in case you don't readily have a copy available.
2) The District proposed a settlement to one of the grievances we filed this year. We have a tentative agreement regarding that grievance pending a ratification vote.
Please remember, we need at least 50% of our membership to attend in order to hold a ratification vote. I do not expect the meeting to last more than 45 minutes - 1 hour. Please attend and bring a friend.
We hope to see you tomorrow!
