My long time friend and fellow vendor met his maker this morning. Rich Krulakis was well known at homeschool conventions with his business, Solomon's Secrets. You always knew when he arrived with his booming personality that set an upbeat mood in the entire vendor hall. He could always find the best deals to be able to offer valuable resources to the homeschool community. Always there to encourage me as a fellow vendor. Please be in prayer for his amazing family, who traveled with him at times, throughout his years of business and who he was so dedicated to. Rich, you will be sorely missed 💔

Update: It was a long ordeal in the hospital and ICU but finally Alan is home and recovering. Thank you for praying. Original post:As an update to our family. My husband Alan has undergone open heart surgery this week. He is really struggling with recovery due to his heart rate being too fast, his heart rhythm is in AFib and he has been in a lot of pain. We have been in the ICU since Thursday. We appreciate all the prayer.

Many may be wondering where we have been this season. Our area was hit by 3 major storms that caused significant destruction. We live in the Albany, GA area. We had 10 trees fall at our home and lost power for 1 1/2 days. My daughter's family had a tree fall in their yard but they lost power for 10 days so she moved in with us. We also started volunteering with the clean up efforts. This turned into a project. When the second storm hit 20 days later, we ended up moving in with my daughter's family because we lost our electric. I also started volunteering on a chainsaw Crew. I then moved into a volunteer position where I was tasking out over 1000 volunteers a day to help. We have made significant progress but the work is not done. There are now only a handful of volunteers left but they are faithful to help our community each day to clean up the vegetative debris. It has taken most of my time for the past 5 months. We still have a few months of work left. I do plan to be at the Chattanooga convention as well as the Southeast expo in July. Please pray for our community as we continue our recovery as well as make plans for future efforts.
