A quality early childhood program considers the whole child: physical, mental, and spiritual growth. As a church-sponsored center, we strive to provide a Christian cheerful, success-oriented environment. Our goal in our mixed age classes is to enhance social and emotional development and encourage intellectual development, while avoiding the pitfalls of age and readiness separation. Emphasis will

be upon creative, individualized learning experiences as well as the group living experiences that are important to the child at this stage of life. All classes will meet for chapel once a month. ELC Programs
Albany First United Methodist Early Learning Center offers a variety of programs:
Preschool for children 2.5 through 5 two to five days per week, 9:15 – 11:30 AM. Combination of class and full or part day child care, between 7:15 AM and 5:30 PM. Summer child care for ages 2.5 (must be potty trained) through elementary school age.
