We’re excited to share that Can Code Communities Founder and CEO Annmarie Lanesey has been appointed by Governor Hochul to New York State’s new FutureWorks Commission, a blue-ribbon panel tasked with helping strengthen New York’s role as a global leader in responsible AI while harnessing the economic benefits of AI and protecting the economic security of workers.

This group of 20 leaders from business, labor, academia, and public policy will develop recommendations on ways New York State can navigate the AI transition.

We are honored Annmarie will contribute to this important effort to help shape a more equitable, inclusive, and opportunity-driven future of work in New York.
