Meet Christopher Murunguzha from Zimbabwe! π Originally driven by a desire to be part of a world-class institution, Christopher chose UAlbany's Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy to pursue his Master of Public Administration.
During his time in our MPA program, he participated in the 2025 UpToUs Leadership Bootcamp in Washington, D.C., did a summer internship, and strengthened his skills in policy analysis, research and data analysis, and community and stakeholder engagement. He truly has built the skills and networks to make a real impact in public service.
His advice for fellow grad students? Graduate school isn't just about the coursework β it's about building relationships, staying involved, and always coming back to your 'why.' π‘
We love having you in the Great Dane family, Christopher! πΎ
To everyone taking summer classes β we see you, we respect you, and we need to know your secrets π How are you staying on top of it all? Share your tips in the comments! βοΈπ

A study led by Sanjay Goel from the Massry School of Business reveals that repeated exposure to security demands can lead to βsecurity fatigue,β causing employees to become mentally exhausted and less engaged with safe practices.
