MATH TUTORING AND MUSIC LESSONS

2:30 pm- 5 pm
Masks not required.
Ages- Various

I offer relaxed math and music lessons.

MUSIC LESSON DETAILS- I teach beginning keyboard (piano), guitar and mandolin. Minimum 20 minutes, 10 minute lessons available, if there are siblings. $30 per hour

MATH TUTORING DETAILS- I tutor any math level up to Advanced Algebra and Geometry. Minimum 30 minutes, $30 per hour.

Drop-off Program Course Descriptions -

MATH- 40 minutes
Students are invited to practice skills. We often work on fractions, long division, long multiplication and whatever else the students want to practice.

SCIENCE Projects- Zoology- 45 minutes
Students are invited to create a research project to learn about an animal or animal family that interests them. At the end of the 2 month term, we have a presentation day when the students present their research to peers and parents.

GEOGRAPHY projects- Australia, Antarctica, Oceana, North America- 50 minutes
Students are invited to create a research project to learn World Geography, students can create a project within any of the subtopics of geography. At the end of the 2 month term, we have a presentation day when the students present their research to peers and parents.

NEWSPAPER/ Writing and Art- 1 hour
Students will be invited to create content for our own Newspaper. Students can submit writing, art or similar content. Content should be appropriate for an audience ages 9-14. We will share our newspaper with the Yacon Village community when it is finished.

Cost- Wednesdays- $50 per day for 1 student, $40 per day for a sibling; extended hours are available for an extra fee.
