Today’s Egg Drop Challenge was full of big ideas, creative designs, and a few very dramatic landings. STEM is all about learning from the results, even when they’re a little messy!

A special thank you to Mrs. Gaskins, our Downtown City Manager, for treating our Balancing The Equation students to ice cream and nachos!

We also want to thank Mr. Eric, the owner of Cool Scoops, for helping make it happen. The students enjoyed every minute of it, and we truly appreciate the community support and kindness shown to our kids.

This lesson was all about chemical reactions! Students created chalk rockets and watched science come to life as pressure built inside the film canisters and launched them into the air.

You can’t expect growth from your team if you’re not willing to grow as a leader. Training was all about sharpening our leadership skills, strengthening our vision, and building the capacity to serve at a higher level.

Our young innovators are kicking off the Mini City Project by exploring one important question: What is engineering?

Before they can design, build, and solve real world problems, they first have to understand the role engineers play in shaping the world around us. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where their ideas take them.
