How do you get what you want in life?

Focus your thoughts on the situation you desire. Your subconscious is literal and doesn't recognize negatives. So don't focus on what you don't want, what saddens you, your pain. Because of you do, you will attract more pain.

Instead imagine yourself as you want to be and hold that image. Believe in it like it already exists. Return to it whenever you can. Keep it sharply in focus. Add an affirmation to help you remember. Keep it simple. Then gently move toward the goal as opportunities arise.

It may take weeks or months or even years, but eventually you will have transformed your entire life.

EFT/Tapping is an amazing tool for releasing trauma. Recurring nightmares can be washed away using tapping and other methods. If the source of the nightmare is unresolved personal trauma, it could take a little time, but even one session will show you positive changes right away.

The beauty of Energy Psychology methods is that you can use them whenever you need them. Learn to tap immediately following a traumatic event to ease the impact it has on your future. Take the time to tap on past traumas to lessen your attraction to similar incidents.

Even watching a violent movie can stay in your body and have an effect on your day-to-day life. You can discharge the power of the images that replay in your head.

Once you know how to do it, you can begin to take charge of your own road to mental health by utilizing the various methods whenever you need them. For deep "Big T" traumas, it may be best to have someone to guide you. But for smaller every day emotional bumps and bruises, you really can do it yourself, immediately, wherever and whenever you need it.
