UAlbany celebrated the official launch of the Ramaiah Institute of Science and Management (RISM), a new skill-focused university in Bengaluru, India. We’re proud to be RISM’s knowledge partner as it opens its doors!
Together, we’re co-developing curricula, building joint certificate programs, and creating faculty exchange and research opportunities for students on both sides of the world.

CQUPT-UAlbany dual degree students (from China) participated in the Albany Rural Cemetery Explorer (ARCE) project with Dr. Rui Li, Associate Dean for Social Science in the College of Arts and Sciences; and Associate Professor in Geography, Planning and Sustainability.

Connecting Visitors with History at Albany Rural Cemetery At Albany Rural Cemetery, where nearly two centuries of history stretch across 467 acres, two University at Albany students are putting interdisciplinary training into practice — developing mapping tools that help visitors navigate the past.

Was great to attend the annual meeting of with other International Enrollment Mangement professionals in Manhattan. The executive board (UAlbany’s own serves as the treasurer of this group, but is recruiting in Asia and was unable to attend) organized a great meeting, and provided a busy evening with invited guests for networking opportunities. One of our UAlbany international Bangladeshi students won an award in the Study New York photo contest. 👏🏻 👏🏻💜💛

Westcoast swing in California for some international student transfer fairs at Foothill College and D’Anaza College. had the opportunity to speak with many students, including this one, about UAlbany’s many opportunities for women in science and engineering. 💜💛
