As a group we actively hold Open Mics once per semester and publish a literary magazine annually. Anybody and everybody is welcomed to participate.
This is an organization with collective interests in creative writing, poetry, music, photography, art, and more! We host: Open-Mic Night
Each semester, students, faculty, and even parents gather for a relaxed night full of music, poetry, rap, art, and laughter. The club annually publishes a literary magazine which includes poetry, creative writing, art, and photography (black & white and color).
Experience Albany: We are currently planning field trips to museums, movies, art shows, musicals, and more! Get extra credit for
humanities too! National Writing Day: Participate in one of the coolest days of the month in October (next to Halloween of course!)
One of history's greatest artists came into the world on March 30th. Take a look at behind the scenes of Loving Vincent, the upcoming movie PAINTED entirely in the style of Vincent Van Gogh.
Art Night is on Thursday March 9th in PCL20 at 630PM! See you there to come create your own masterpiece with supplies we provide for you! No cost, just show up!

On this, the International Women's Day, we'd like to pay tribute to Chimamanda Adichie, and her beautiful words. She is an excellent role model not only for women but humans everywhere. she reminds women not to be ashamed of who they are and to beware the danger of the single story. Be sure to check out her work! http://chimamanda.com/
