Chance to Win: Free Media Literacy Webinar with NAMLE's Youth Advisory Council 👏

How much of your online world is actually shaped by you? And how much is being shaped for you?

During U.S. Media Literacy Week, one high school classroom will win a free, interactive virtual session led by NAMLE’s Youth Advisory Council, exploring how our online behavior, data, algorithms, and personalized feeds are all connected through "The Feed Effect: How Your Online World Is Built for You." Led by students, for students, this ~45 minute session will include activities and discussions designed to help participants think more critically about their digital experiences, ask better questions about how their feeds are built, and consider how they can make more informed choices about the media they encounter online.

Join NAMLE and our friends at PBS News Student Reporting Labs for a conversation with student journalists about civic identity, community, storytelling, and the issues shaping their lives.

As the nation reflects on America’s 250th anniversary and looks ahead to the next election cycle, we’ll explore how young people are using journalism to investigate their communities, amplify diverse perspectives, and engage with civic life.

Educators will leave with practical ideas for bringing student storytelling, media literacy, inquiry, and civic engagement into their own classrooms.
