Last week, Okay, Let's Talk: Real Estate & Financial Literacy for Youth wrapped up our first partnership with North Albany Middle School, and I’m already missing my students so much!
Over the past few weeks, we covered everything from key real estate terms and career pathways to how equity can lead to generational wealth. We played games, built creative houses, and confidently presented those houses in front of our classmates.
During their presentations, students shared what type of house they built, how many bedrooms and bathrooms it had, and where it was located. But more importantly, they broke down the numbers of how much they “bought” it for and how much they were able to “sell” it for.
Some made a profit, and some didn’t which is reality!
One day I’m going to run into a few of these students and they are going to be ready to purchase a house (because they are not allowed to buy a house if I’m not their agent. Ask them.. they know 😂) and I’m super excited for that day to come!!!
Thank you NAMS for the partnership! See you next year 🙏🏾🥳

Okay, Let's Talk: Real Estate & Financial Literacy for Youth is proud to partner with GreenTech High Charter School for another year of running one of their favorite programs, Keys for the Youth 🔑🏡
This financial literacy program equips students with real-life skills they’ll carry forever: budgeting, understanding credit, homeownership basics, investing, and career pathways in real estate all rooted in building generational wealth.
This year, I spent a full school day with over 50 scholars in grades 9–12, and let me tell you… they were energetic, engaged, and kept me on my toes with their thoughtful, detailed questions! We truly underestimate how much our youth already know. I made sure to celebrate them every time they shared something I didn’t even learn until my twenties.
Thank you, Green Tech, for continuing to see the value in exposing your scholars to homeownership, real estate investing, and wealth-building conversations early. I’m already looking forward to running this program with you again next year!

October was so busy that I didn’t have a chance to celebrate September!
Okay, Let's Talk: Real Estate & Financial Literacy for Youth had the wonderful opportunity to be part of North Albany Middle School’s Open House, where I met so many amazing parents and students! We talked about what it means to buy a home, the importance of financial literacy, and how homeownership can create generational wealth. It’s always inspiring to see families and schools invest in the financial future of their youth. Conversations like these plant the seeds for lifelong success!
If you’re a parent, student, or teacher interested in bringing Okay, Let’s Talk programs to your school, reach out at [email protected] we’d love to collaborate!

This month, I wrapped up two amazing Prep Rallies in partnership with Ten80 Education and Career Jam! Together, we connected with nearly 3,000 students across Saratoga, Albany, Schenectady, and Rensselaer Counties, sharing real-world insight into career discovery and the many opportunities available right here in our region. It’s inspiring to see so many young minds excited about their futures and we’re just getting started!
