April 7, 2026---Orders are due for Steer Tags. $25.00. (Spring 2027) Heifer Tags (Fall 2026) $25.00 each. There will be another Heifer tag order in August/September, 2026 for (Spring 2027) shows.
April 7, 2026---Orders---State Fair Market Lamb and Goat tags. $15.00 each (FALL 2026) (SPRING 2027)
April 27, 2026---Orders--State Fair Pig Tags. $15.00 each. (Fall 2026)
April 1, 2026——The procedure for thank you notes is as follows:
(1) Write the notes and place
them in stamped, addressed
envelopes ready to mail.
(2) Mail the letters by April 1,
2026. Once your THANK YOU
letters are received, they will
be checked off the list.
The deadline for writing THANK YOU notes is April 1, 2026. Remember that you must send thank you notes before you can receive your check.
SHACKELFORD COUNTY YOUTH & LIVESTOCK MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The Scholarships are due on April 1, 2026. All seniors can pick up an application from Mr. Beard. Please turn in the scholarship to Mr. Beard (Ag Building ) Late applications will not be accepted.

April 1, 2026--PEN CLEANUP AT THE FFA BARN AND ALL ANIMALS
If you fed animals at the FFA Barn this year, you will need to cleaned your pens by the deadline or you will not receive your check until they are cleaned. Clean means removing all trash and feeding equipment from the pens then filling holes with sand, cleaning all hay out of the sheds with heat lamps, and raking the pens level. The water and electricity will be turned off to all pens on April 1, 2026. Please have all livestock out of the pens.
April 1, 2026---ALL OUTSTANDING BALANCES DUE TO THE STOCK SHOW, 4-H OR FFA
To avoid not getting your exhibitor checks, please pay all bills owed to the stock show including bids, concessions stand, and cleaning pens at the Ag. Farm. Also, any money owed to 4-H or FFA for entry fees, tags, and sales - etc. will need to be paid as well. All bills are due April 1, 2026. Any student that owes money to the Albany FFA needs to have that paid by April 8, 2026. ( I will need a check or cash to cover the amount of money owed to the Albany FFA before a check will be released to the exhibitor).

April 2026---TBA—Checks will be given out for the Shackelford County Youth and Livestock Show.
