I would like to take a minute to introduce our new K teacher and share her wishlist. See below for a note from Ms. Robyn Richardson Hiestand.

Hello everyone!
I wanted to take a minute to say how extremely excited I am to be joining Beginnings Prep Academy as the new Kindergarten teacher! I met Mrs. Becky several years ago and we formed a fast friendship. We learned immediately that our outlook on education is incredibly aligned. I have 20 years experience in education, with 15 of that being in Pre-K and Kindergarten in Livingston Parish. Working with young children was and is my passion. I believe that developing a strong foundation with faith and learning inter-connected is a key component to a very bright future. One of my primary interests is teaching pre-reading and reading skills in ways that are fun and engaging. Creativity brings out so much in each child. I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of you. I am truly blessed with the opportunity to join an amazing program and family!
