Liana Is a part of the literacy K-12 program at The College of Saint Rose. She completed her undergraduate degree in the Childhood and s Special Education program at Saint Rose as well. She chose to peruse her Masters degree because she always wanted to be a classroom teacher or a reading specialist. She feels like The College of Saint Rose is the perfect fit for her because she will achieve her degree and can gain an additional certification to be a reading teacher specialist as well. She also enjoys the small class sizes, and getting to know her classmates and professors. She feels like the program gives a lot of relevant experiences, and practical course work. She currently holds a GA position for the PACE program. This is a peer run tutoring program designed to support students with organization and time management. After graduation she is looking into positions as either a reading teacher or classroom teacher. We wish you the best of luck as you finish your degree!

Kara is Apart of the social work program at The College Saint Rose. She graduated completed her associates degree from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Kara finished her bachelor degree in the UK in international relationships and journalism. She became interested in social work because she wants to help people improve their relationship with themselves, and to help them increase their overall quality of life. She was interested in Saint Rose due to the small class size; and values the face time she receives with professors for both assignments and things going on in your daily life. Saint Rose has been an supportive environment and she gains information from hearing other classmates experiences and having that incorporated into the class discussions. Kara currently and her clinical placement in an addiction treatment center in Albany, and after graduation would like to work with children or teenagers. We wish you the best of luck as you finish your Masters Degree!

Kimberly recently graduated from the FLEX MBA program at The College of Saint Rose. She completed her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and law at The College of Saint Rose. Kimberly chose the FLEX MBA program because it provided her the opportunity to take classes asynchronous or synchronously. She worked at the college doing tutoring for social statistics. Since graduating Kimberly is deciding if she would like to work in HR or Accounting! Congratulations on achieving your Masters Degree and we wish you luck!

She has had jobs as a behavioral specialist and a school counselor. She decided to come to The College of Saint Rose because she wanted to work at the district level, working with social emotional aspects.
