What an incredible evening at God’s Foundation Christian Academy! We loved welcoming back familiar faces, meeting our new Warrior families, and seeing the excitement for the year ahead.
Our Kindergarten–12th Grade supervisors and monitors are grateful for everyone who came out and helped make Open House such a wonderful start to the 2026–2027 school year. The classrooms are ready, the plans are made, and this team is excited to pour into our students academically, personally, and spiritually.

Investing in Excellence for the Year Ahead

While summer often brings thoughts of rest and vacation, our staff is already hard at work preparing for another successful school year at God’s Foundation Christian Academy.

This week, four of our staff members attended the ACE Administrators Training, spending several days learning, growing, and strengthening the skills needed to better serve our students and families. From classroom procedures and academic excellence to leadership development and student success, this training equips our team with valuable tools for the coming year. We anticipate more of our team receiving similar educational enrichment later in the summer at Regional ACE Supervisors Training!

We are grateful for educators who are willing to invest their summer in professional development so they can continue providing the highest quality Christian education possible. Please join us in praying for our staff as they prepare for the 2026–2027 school year and for the students God will place in our classrooms.

Today we are celebrating a huge accomplishment for one of our own! 🎓
Please join us in congratulating Ms. Brittney on earning her Bachelor’s Degree this morning! We are so proud of her hard work, dedication, and perseverance throughout this journey.
Our students have been blessed to see firsthand what determination and commitment look like through her example each day in the classroom. Balancing school, work, and investing in the lives of students is no small task, and today’s achievement is incredibly well deserved.
Congratulations, Ms. Brittney! Your GFCA family is so proud of you, and we are excited to see all that God has planned for your future.

Huge thank you to the crews from Mitchell EMC who have been working hard this morning to restore power to our school and community. We are currently going on hour two without power, but we are incredibly thankful for the men and women out in the rain and heat doing difficult and dangerous work to get everything back up and running as quickly as possible.
It’s easy to take electricity for granted until you watch crews hanging from buckets and working line by line to serve others. We appreciate your dedication, long hours, and willingness to respond when the community needs you most.
Please continue praying for their safety as they work and for power to be restored soon! ⚡🙏

Tonight was a powerful reminder of who we are at GFCA.
Some of our staff gathered around our students—not for instruction, not for correction—but simply to pray over them.
At GFCA, we are committed to academic excellence, but even more than that, we are committed to the hearts and lives of our students. We believe education goes beyond the classroom, and tonight was a beautiful picture of that.
We are grateful for a staff that loves, leads, and pours into students both academically and spiritually.
