Our students have been blessed to see firsthand what determination and commitment look like through her example each day in the classroom. Balancing school, work, and investing in the lives of students is no small task, and today’s achievement is incredibly well deserved.

Huge thank you to the crews from Mitchell EMC who have been working hard this morning to restore power to our school and community. We are currently going on hour two without power, but we are incredibly thankful for the men and women out in the rain and heat doing difficult and dangerous work to get everything back up and running as quickly as possible.
It’s easy to take electricity for granted until you watch crews hanging from buckets and working line by line to serve others. We appreciate your dedication, long hours, and willingness to respond when the community needs you most.
Please continue praying for their safety as they work and for power to be restored soon! ⚡🙏

Tonight was a powerful reminder of who we are at GFCA.
Some of our staff gathered around our students—not for instruction, not for correction—but simply to pray over them.
At GFCA, we are committed to academic excellence, but even more than that, we are committed to the hearts and lives of our students. We believe education goes beyond the classroom, and tonight was a beautiful picture of that.
We are grateful for a staff that loves, leads, and pours into students both academically and spiritually.

GFCA closed tomorrow for inclement weather!

Our students will be participating in a 7-hour walkathon to support our upper-level students as they prepare to attend Regional Convention.
Regional Convention allows our students to compete in writing, academics, athletics, and platform events, and this fundraiser helps make that opportunity possible.
We invite our school family and community to support our students by making a general donation toward the walkathon. Every contribution helps and is greatly appreciated.

🌟 Student Spotlight: Isaac Gonzalez 🌟

We are incredibly proud to recognize Isaac for his outstanding achievements this season in the Albany Young Marines!
Isaac was honored as the Honorary Graduate among this season’s recruits and was promoted to Private 1st Class. He earned this recognition through his exceptional performance, consistently going above and beyond what is expected of him in every assignment.
Isaac demonstrates impressive leadership skills, even when not specifically called to lead. He always gives his best effort and does so with a positive attitude and respectful demeanor.
