Mr. Baptiste has done excellent work here at Albany State University Housing and Residence Life in Village South. We commend him on his dedication and hard work here with our residents and are sorry to see him go. However, we wish him the best on all his future endeavors and know that he will do great things wherever he goes!

Move-in is from 8 AM - 12 AM if you cannot make at the designated times.
Please adhere to your residential floor assignments regarding your MOVE- IN TIME. SEE ABOVE!
It is imperative, that you adhere to your residential floor Move-in designated time to promote equitable distribution of volunteers assisting within our residential buildings as we reduce move-in density and crowding.
All students may bring no more than two other persons to assist with move-in. All other family members, may visit the student rooms once he/she has set their room during their check-in time frame.

Please ensure you have satisfied all requirements with financial aid and have been cleared before coming to campus for move-in. If you are unsure of what documents please log on to your banner web.

A very special shout-out to Mr. Trayondus Baynard for graduating with his Master’s of Science in Higher Education with a concentration in Leadership and a specialization in Program Administration.
Mr. Baynard has been an Area Coordinator with the office of Housing and Residence Life for 6 years and does a phenomenal job here in our department! We want to congratulate him and celebrate all his hard work!

* Ensure you and your roommates have discussed what will be cleaned.
*For units with Kitchens be sure to clean and throw away all food and items you do not want anymore
* Clean you room and common area thoroughly
* TAKE ALL OF YOUR ITEMS WITH YOU! No one is allowed to store anything in the residence halls.
* For those who have in unit laundry area ensure to clean that area as well
* Please turn all Hard Keys and Swipe Cards in! DO NOT TURN IN YOU RAM ID
