I wanted to introduce myself! My name is Emily Adkins, I graduated with my associates degree in child and family studies in 2013. I then worked in a day care for five years, caring for the wobblers (12-24 months), but spending a lot of time with the infants and toddlers as well! The last five years I have devoted myself to a family as their nanny, as well as raising my first child of my own. So much joy has come from watching so many children’s accomplishments! I am so excited to be sharing Joyful Noise with you! My hope is that this can be a place where parents can come and gain so much more then a short time of engagement and entertainment for their child. I want Joyful Noise to be a community of caregivers (whatever your role might be) that support one another. That you would have a listening ear from others who all have one thing in common. We are all making a difference in young lives! Everyone has a joyful noise to be made! So let’s make noise together!
