Just as good as under the big top!
Fourth graders worked all week with Circus Theatricks, a program that introduces kids to the athleticism and artistry of the circus.
They then wowed the school with a performance that included juggling, tumbling, partner acrobatics, magic and the secrets and skills of a circus clown!
Bravo!

Guilty on all counts!
After seven months of research, practice and legal study, a jury of his peers (literally) found our fifth-grade defendant responsible for a purse theft.
Our Legal Lives partnership with the Albany County District Attorney’s office came to a close Monday with a trial - complete with judges, attorneys, witnesses, a jury and even a bailiff – which brought the justice system to life through a fully staged trial.
The hands-on project encouraged critical thinking, public speaking and active citizenship skills.

Our students were incredibly proud to participate in our Peace Pole dedication on Tuesday.
You may recall our Popcorn for Peace fundraiser from early winter - well this is the outcome!
The idea - spearheaded by PK/K teaching assistant Cammy Salazar - is to share a message of peace here at MMS, and beyond.
Thank you to all who made this a reality!
