What better way to start your day than sharing a plate of freshly cooked pancakes with loved ones!

Students at Pine Hills Elementary School enjoyed a delicious breakfast this morning with family members and dear friends in their school cafeteria.

Our school staff was thrilled with the turnout, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Pine Hills PTA for helping purchase supplies for the event, to the Pine Hills reading team for helping serve the meal and to City School District of Albany educator Michelle Chiappone for working hard behind the scenes to cook up hundreds of pancakes for our honored guests!

Students arrived Tuesday to an entrance lined with unicorns, a dinosaur, fish, an astronaut, dogs, a flamingo, a butterfly and much, much more!

Pine Hills' version of a clap in is a little different, and we wouldn’t have it any way.

Thanks to Assistant Superintendent for Elementary Instruction Jasmine Brown for joining us for this fun welcome to the new school year.
