Roughly 2,328 stuffed animals were donated to Tyler's Toyz tonight because of the generosity of our Alba-Golden family, those in our local and surrounding communities, the Mineola Yellowjackets, and Winona ISD. This compares to 643 items which were donated last year!
As far as the contest between the brothers goes, A-G came out pretty heavily on top; however, children in hospitals in the Northeast Texas area are the real winners! Thanks to each of you for your generous spirit! Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year - from our family to yours!
Just a reminder that tomorrow is the deadline to turn in all stuffed animals to be donated to Tyler's Toyz. You may drop off at AGISD, bring to the gym as your admission into the home basketball games tomorrow afternoon (boys play at 4:00, girls play after), or drop at any of the locally known drop boxes.
Thank you to all who chose to make a child's day brighter through your donation!
Alba-Golden and Winona ISDs have agreed to enter into a little friendly competition, and we are calling all of our A-G friends and family to help us WIN!!!
Between now and Friday, December 15th, we are collecting NEW stuffed animals to be donated to local hospitals throughout Northeast Texas. We ask any and all of our community organizations/churches/families, etc to partner with us in honor of little Tyler Zapotocky. Bring your new stuffed animals to the school or contact a school representative for help getting your stuffed animals to us. Let's pull together to encourage children who may be going through some of their toughest times while also showing our students the blessing of giving to others. And may we WIN in the process!
(Losing brother [Cody Mize WISD vs Michael Mize AGISD] will don the winning school's jersey for a day).
Let's go A-G! ❤️💙❤️💙
