The Community Food Access program is proud to launch the Community Food Consortium.
This consortium is a network of small food retailers and Colorado producers across the state working to address distribution and cost challenges to expand access to healthy food.
Retailer Consortium members get access to exclusive benefits offered by a food hub in their service area; either Farm Runners, Valley Roots Food Hub, or East Denver Food Hub. Retailer members are also able to receive tax credits on their distribution fees for healthy food.
All grantees from the Small Food Business Recovery and Resilience Grant are automatically members of the Consortium.
Other small food retailers and Colorado producers are welcome to apply to join this Consortium by completing the application linked below and uploading required documentation on box.com. Applications are reviewed and approved on a rolling basis.
Information about the first meeting will be sent out to Consortium members upon review and approval of their application.
