We would just like to take a second to recap our Hygiene Drive. We had an AMAZING outcome. The High school collected almost 1,000 items and the elementary school collected nearly 3,000!! We are so very thankful for everyone that donated. All products will go directly back to the students here at the Alamosa School District! For those of you that donated, you made a difference today!!

With only a $10.00 donation, we were able to purchase all of these items from the Dollar Store!! Think of how easy it can be for you to make a difference in someone’s life with only $10!!! Please consider buying some items and donating it to our Hygiene Drive!! If you are too busy to go out and shop, we will gladly take a donation and go buy the items ourselves! We will also pick up any donations you might have as well!!

Hey guys!!
We are doing a Hygiene Drive, starting from Monday, Feb 24th until March 9th! We are asking for any donations you might have!! This includes (but is not limited to) toothbrush, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, face wipes, tampons, etc.. We would truly appreciate if you donated any extra items that you have laying around the house. All the donations will go directly back to the students in Alamosa School District. If you would like to donate, please contact anyone in NHS, or our President, Emily Wilson. We appreciate all your support!!

One month of the District Wide Food Drive and NHS is proud to say that we collected over 450 items of food. Emily Wilson coordinated the food drive and delivered half of the items to La Puente and half of the items to the Food Bank today! We are always looking to help the community!

Week 3 of the District Wide Food Drive!!

NHS is hosting a District Wide Food Drive for the local community!! 🍎🌽🍞🍱🥫

When: October 1st - November 15th

Where: There are drop off boxes at Alamosa Elementary K-2 and 3-5, Ortega Middle School, and Alamosa High School

How: Just bring a can or a non perishable item to one of the boxes.

NHS will be collecting the cans every Friday!! Donate a can of food!

To be chosen as a member of National Honor Society in Alamosa, students must first maintain a grade point average of 3.5. Students then file an application and are selected by the Faculty Council if they demonstrate that they are active in the NHS pillars of scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

After selection, members join us in the service projects and social events that help connect AHS to the community.
