It’s hard to believe we’re entering September, but here we are already at the end of August.

Three opportunities to write with me this month

September 1, join me at The Church Project in Monte Vista from 6pm-9pm for Write Club! Bring your writing supplies and come for all or some of the session. The idea: time to focus on writing while sharing space and energy with others who are doing the same.

September 16, we’ll have the second meeting of Write Club for the month at SLVs TEA Spot in Alamosa, from 7pm-10pm.

Catch me again at the Church Project on September 17th for Playful Writing. We’ll be making zines that night, from 6pm-8pm.

It’s almost time for Write Club at SLV's TEA Spot tonight, August 20, from 7pm-10pm.

I’m teaching again this semester, so my writing time is more important than ever.

Join me and come write in company with others, working on our own projects and sharing energy and motivation with each other!

We meet the third Wednesday of every month!

Four opportunities to find me this month!

On July 3rd from 5pm-8pm, I'll be part of the Market on Main for First Friday's Alamosa 1878 celebration. Thanks to Visit Alamosa, I'll be offering my custom typewriter poems, for free! Be sure to stop by and get one!

Then, on July 7th I'll be at the Church Project for Write Club from 5pm - 8pm. Bring a writing project to work on, or make use of the writing games I bring with me. This time is not guided - just a time to come and write and share space with others. And remember, the first rule of Write Club is to tell your friends about Write Club!

On July 15th, I'll be at the TEA Spot from 7pm-10pm for Write Club, Alamosa Edition.

Finally, on July 16th, I'll be back at the Church Project for Playful Writing, from 6pm-8pm. We're going to get extra playful and imaginative and practice writing from non-human perspectives!

All of these offerings are free this month - all you need to bring is your attention and your time.

A few things coming up in June:

1. Write Club at on June 2nd. I’ll be busy prepping the Narrow Gauge for new shelves so Maddy is hosting. 5pm-8pm, come and write in company with others!

2. A passion project has an art show and a new zine issue coming out! I co-edit, co-curate, co-produce HeartThrob with Allison Cruse of and we’d love to see you at on June 13th at 3pm for the art show reception, followed by the release party for the Away issue.

3. The next day, I’m the feature performer for the at The Church Project. Catch me at 6pm for poems and stories.

4. Write Club on the 17th from 7pm-10pm

5. Playful Writing on the 18th from 6pm-8pm . The theme this month is Revision.

6. How to Lead a Workshop on the 20th from 10am-1pm, offered on a sliding scale of $20-$40.
