Today, Dr. Michele Mann hosts secondary science teachers for some PD on integrating science and technology through a pipette lab.

Happy Monday, School of Education friends and followers! Here are some more fun photos from our NSF Noyce "Developing STARS" rural immersion event! The group visited the Great Sand Dunes National Monument to do some sightseeing and spear throwing, engaged in some 3D printing workshops and learned about the amazing agriculture program at Monte Vista High School!

The National Science Foundation Robert Noyce "Developing STARS" grant is a joint initiative of the School of Education and the School of STEM at Adams State University. This week, we hosted several prospective STEM teachers for a 4-day rural immersion experience that included education and STEM activities, tours of SLV schools and communities, and events with local teachers and administrators. A special thanks to .pirates and Conejos School District for hosting us for school tours. Here are some fun photos from our visit to Antonito where we learned about the amazing work happening around Expeditionary Learning and paid a visit to the famous Cano's castle!
