The National Science Foundation Robert Noyce "Developing STARS" grant is a joint initiative of the School of Education and the School of STEM at Adams State University. This week, we hosted several prospective STEM teachers for a 4-day rural immersion experience that included education and STEM activities, tours of SLV schools and communities, and events with local teachers and administrators. A special thanks to .pirates and Conejos School District for hosting us for school tours. Here are some fun photos from our visit to Antonito where we learned about the amazing work happening around Expeditionary Learning and paid a visit to the famous Cano's castle! Stay tuned for more fun photos from the rural immersion!
