🏐 Our CMS volleyball girls battled through some tough matches against Mountain View Middle School last night!

The 7th-grade team brought home another WIN! Way to go, Lady Tigers! 🎉🐯

Our 8th-grade team played hard and fought until the very end, but the W slipped away this time. That’s okay—third time’s the charm, right? 😉 Keep working, keep fighting, and keep your heads up! Your time is coming! 💪

We’re proud of both teams for representing CMS with heart and determination!

Our Beginning Orchestra students are officially making music! 🎶🐯

Students are already diving into their first book and playing the very first lines—and every great musician has to start somewhere! 🎵

There’s something pretty special about hearing those first notes come to life. We can’t wait to see how these young musicians learn, grow, and make beautiful music together throughout the year! 💛🖤

📚 Remembering Dolly Parton and Her Legacy of Literacy

While we don’t typically share news like this, today we honor Dolly Parton—a beloved entertainer whose impact reached far beyond the stage.

Dolly was a passionate advocate for childhood literacy. Inspired by her father’s inability to read and write, she founded Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in 1995. The program provides free, age-appropriate books each month to registered children from birth to age five, regardless of their family’s income. Today, it sends more than three million books to children around the world every month. ❤️📖

Dolly Parton understood that books open doors, inspire dreams, and change lives. Her music may have made her a star, but her commitment to helping children become readers is a legacy that will continue for generations.

🎨👀 CAN YOU FIND THE HIDDEN IMAGE?! 👀🎨

Our CMS Art students have taken their Blind Continuous Line projects from “What in the world is that?” 😂 to some seriously creative finished artwork!

Students started by creating a continuous line without looking at the paper. Then came Phase Two—finding a hidden image within those crazy lines and adding details to transform it into what they saw! 🖊️🔎✨

And now…THEY’RE COMPLETE! 🙌🎨
