Reminder! Did you know? 🚌On the 40th, 80th & 120th day of school, APS captures a snapshot of the bus ridership to report to NMPED. The information collected on this day is very important and impacts the funding our district receives for transportation. Transportation funding not only supports students' daily rides to and from school, it can also support in-district school field trips. 🚌 Tomorrow, Thursday, October 8th, if your child is a bus rider, please help us provide an accurate count by having them ride the bus. 🚌

We are accepting sock donations for our APS Socktober Sock Drive! 🧦

Socks of all sizes in original packaging can be donated throughout October! Each of our schools will have a donation box available at the front office. Your donation and support make a BIG difference and help families stay warm.

Friday was National Custodian Appreciation Day, and we couldn’t let the weekend pass without giving a HUGE shoutout to our amazing custodial team here at CMS! 🎉

Ms. Beth, Mr. Art, Mr. Chris, and Mr. Felipe — THANK YOU for everything you do to keep our school clean, safe, and running smoothly! 🫶🏼
But your impact goes far beyond keeping our hallways sparkling. ✨

🐯🖤💛 NOW THAT’S HOW YOU SHOW SOME TIGER CUB PRIDE! 💛🖤🐯

Friday wrapped up Homecoming Week with CMS Tiger Cub Pride Day, and then our Tiger Cubs took that pride straight to the AHS Homecoming Parade! 🎉

We were SO proud to showcase just a little bit of what makes CMS awesome — athletics, band, art, baking, Leadership, and Student Council were all represented!

🥁🎺 BAND marched that parade route and played their hearts out! They brought the music, the energy, and ALL the Tiger Pride! 🎶🐯

🍪 BAKING went above and beyond — we're talking THOUSANDS of snickerdoodles made by our student bakers and handed out to parade spectators! 🤯👏 A special shout-out to Vicky’s Cookie Nook for recognizing and supporting our student bakers! 💛

🎨 ART took creativity to the streets! Our art students transformed cardboard boxes into some seriously awesome characters and carried their creations along the parade route. 📦🖌️

🏈💦 LEADERSHIP & STUDENT COUNCIL understood The Waterboy assignment! 😂 They brought Bobby Boucher vibes to the float while handing out...

💧 And some HIGH-QUALITY H2O! 😂

HUUUUUGE thank you to Casa Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM for loaning us that beautiful 2026 Dodge Ram Dually to pull our float! That's 3 HoCo parades you've supported us in, we look forward to the next!

🏐🏈🏃 ATHLETICS showed up and proudly represented CMS, because of course we couldn't have a Tiger Pride parade without our Tiger Cub athletes! 💪🐯

From cookies and cardboard creations to music, sports, Gatorade, and some seriously high-quality H2O, our Tiger Cubs showed the community just how many amazing things are happening at CMS! 🖤💛

We couldn't be prouder of our students and staff who worked so hard to make it happen — and THANK YOU to everyone who came out along the parade route to cheer them on!
