💫 Desert Star had a very special visitor today, author Gordon Korman!!
3-5 graders had the privilege of receiving a very special and informative presentation from Mr. Korman! Thank you for inspiring our young readers! 🤍

We even have a few of his books currently in the BOGO Book Fair!! 📚

Students will have the opportunity to shop the fair Monday 5/6 - Friday 5/10 during the school day, with family shopping hours on Wednesday evening during Fine Art Night!

📣‼️Good evening, Desert Star Families!

🎨Desert Star will be holding its Fine Arts Night next Wednesday, May 8th. There will be art and music opportunities for children and adults. There will also be food and prizes to enjoy, as well.

📚🌟We will also have our Family Shopping Night for the Buy 1 - Get 1 Free Book Fair this same evening. Children will also have the opportunity to shop the fair during the week, as well. You can set up your child’s eWallet using the link below!

📚 We are all set up for spring book fair!! Students will have the opportunity to preview the book fair Monday - Wednesday. They should be bringing home wish lists for books they wish to purchase.

📚💫 All students will then have the opportunity to shop the book fair Wednesday - Friday this week, with extended FAMILY SHOPPING hours Thursday evening from 5pm - 6pm.
