Third grade is putting multiplication tables to work!

As students build fluency with multiplication facts, they are creating their own flash cards to use for practice and review.

Mastery is built through understanding, practice, and repetition. Our desire is to equip students with the knowledge and tools they need to think critically, solve problems with confidence, and approach increasingly complex ideas with a strong foundation.

It starts with the fundamentals.

Movement and music are gifts and an important part of learning at Imago Dei Academy.

For our youngest students especially, learning engages the whole child. Songs help words and ideas take root. Rhythm strengthens memory. Movement gives growing bodies a chance to participate in what growing minds are learning.

Our classrooms are intentionally filled with opportunities to listen, move, sing, wonder, and learn together.

Because sometimes learning looks like a book and a pencil.

And sometimes it looks a lot like this.

At Imago Dei Academy, we want our classrooms to be places where students are known, encouraged to wonder, challenged to think deeply, and given the space to grow in wisdom and confidence.

That happens in big conversations and small moments, in the questions students ask, the ideas they wrestle with, and the connections they begin to make.

Day by day, we have the privilege of watching them learn and grow, and we are grateful to be part of it.

A great day of learning at Starbase Holloman!

Our students had the opportunity to explore the characteristics of fluids and put their learning to the test with CO₂ cars today.

We are so grateful to the STARBASE Holloman team for the time, energy, and expertise they invest in our students. Thank you for welcoming Imago Dei and making hands-on learning such a great experience!

And, of course, CO₂ cars for the win!

We take learning seriously.

Ourselves? Maybe a little less so.

There is a lot of good work happening inside these walls already, and plenty of joy mixed in along the way.

We wouldn't have it any other way.

The halls of Imago Dei Academy are filled again with familiar faces, new beginnings, full classrooms, and all the energy that comes with the start of a new school year.

We are so excited to be back.

And as we begin, we’re doing so with open hands and open hearts.

Open hands to receive what the Lord has for us.
Open hearts to know our students deeply, partner well with our families, and grow together as a community.

There is so much we’re looking forward to this year, not simply what our students will learn, but who they will become along the way.

We are grateful for every student entrusted to our care, every family walking alongside us, and every teacher who steps into the classroom each day to do this good work.

Here’s to a new year of learning, growing, laughing, stretching, and becoming.

Welcome back, Imago Dei. We’re so glad you’re here.

The caps have been tossed. The diplomas have been received. The celebrations have quieted.

Yet as we reflect on the Class of 2026, our gratitude remains.

This spring, we had the privilege of celebrating Hayden, Ryan, and Michelle as they completed their journey at Imago Dei Academy. Each brought unique gifts, talents, and perspectives to our community, and each leaves behind a legacy that has helped shape our school.

As educators, there are few greater joys than watching students grow—not only in knowledge, but in wisdom, character, and faith. We have watched these graduates wrestle with difficult ideas, build meaningful friendships, overcome challenges, and pursue truth with conviction.

Most importantly, we have had the privilege of pointing them to Christ along the way.

While their time at Imago Dei Academy has come to a close, we know their story is still being written. Our prayer is that they would continue to walk faithfully with the Lord, using their gifts to serve others, pursue excellence, and glorify God wherever He leads.

"Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." — Philippians 1:6

Hayden, Ryan, and Michelle, thank you for allowing us to be part of your story. We are proud of you, grateful for you, and excited to see what God has in store!

We are grateful for opportunities that allow learning to move beyond the classroom and come vividly to life for our students!

Thank you to the STARBASE Holloman team and LT Norris for investing in our students through thoughtful, hands-on learning experiences. From discussions surrounding GPS and jammers to practical exploration of measurement and volume, students were able to engage concepts in ways that spark curiosity and deepen understanding.

Experiences like these enrich the educational journey and remind students that learning is not merely about information, but about developing attentiveness, wonder, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

We appreciate the time, expertise, and enthusiasm shared with our students this week.

What a sweet glimpse into life at Imago Dei Academy.

Moments of learning, laughter, growth, and the quiet work of becoming, all woven together in the rhythm of our days. These are the moments that don’t always make the schedule, but shape our students in lasting ways.

We are so grateful for this community, for our families, and for the opportunity to walk alongside these students as they grow in Truth, Wisdom, and Eloquence.

Thank you for being part of it.

Seeing is more than looking.

Students are learning to observe carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and engage with the world around them with curiosity and intention. Perspective is shaped over time through what we study, what we practice, and what we value.

At Imago Dei Academy, education is about more than knowledge. It is about forming students who can see clearly, think wisely, and engage the world with discernment.
