🧡Alamogordo Public Schools will be celebrating Unity Day on Wednesday, Oct. 21st! We encourage everyone to wear orange on this day to show your support for kindness, inclusion, and bullying prevention.🧡

Unity Day is an annual event during National Bullying Prevention Month that encourages us to join together to create healthier communities through kindness, acceptance of differences, and inclusion. Started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center in 2011, Unity Day is now celebrated worldwide. By standing together, we can make a tremendous impact on the lives of young people and demonstrate the power of unity. Let’s unite and focus on the positive actions we can take to build healthier, more inclusive communities.

A message from Coach Rahn:
"We are building something fresh and exciting here with the Lady Tigers. My goal is to create a positive, high-energy environment where every student-athlete feels supported, challenged, and empowered to succeed both on and off the court. If you’ve been thinking about playing or getting back on the court, we would love to have you out. Come be a part of this new culture from day one!"

If you’ve been on the fence or took a break in previous seasons, this is your invitation to come experience the positive team culture Coach Rahn and her staff are bringing to the program. Let’s work hard, elevate each other, and make this season unforgettable!

Mrs. Reed and Mr. Cano’s class got hands-on with science this week as they explored endothermic chemical reactions!

The room was filled with curiosity as students tested, observed, and discovered how chemical reactions can absorb heat and create cool results! 🧊⚡️

Big shoutout to two of our unstoppable Mountain View Middle School 8th graders! 🏐⚽

Aidan Serrano and Jayla Elizaldez have been taking their talents to the high school level and absolutely crushing it. Representing MVMS with pride, BOTH Aidan and Jayla played on both the JV and Varsity teams for their high school sports this season, Aidan on the soccer field and Jayla on the volleyball court!

Balancing middle school academics while competing at both high school levels takes serious dedication, grit, and talent. We couldn't be prouder of how you both represent our school community.

Keep setting the bar high, Aidan and Jayla!
