As we welcome students back next week, please remember that school zone lights will be flashing, and school buses will be back on the roads each morning and afternoon. Please slow down, stay alert, and use extra caution when driving through school zones . Please remember DO NOT pass stopped school buses, students may be crossing the street. Your patience and attention help ensure our students arrive at and leave school safely each day.

Have you registered your student to ride the bus this school year? 🚌

If you haven't already, please contact the APS Transportation Department at (575) 812-6017 or email [email protected] to register your student to ride the bus and obtain their bus schedule. 🎒🚸 Once assigned, you will be able to utilize the My Ride K-12 App!

🎒✏️Although our Back-to-School Block Party ended earlier than planned due to severe weather, our commitment to supporting APS students continues. If your student is still in need of basic school supplies to help start the school year, please contact the APS HOPE Team. We will work with families to determine available resources and assist as supplies allow. 💛

📚 Introducing Parent University: Partners in the Journey!

We're excited to launch a new parent involvement initiative designed to help APS families better understand our schools, district programs, and the many resources available to support student success. Join us during the Back to School Block Party on Friday, July 31, for one of two FREE 30-minute informational sessions to learn what Parent University is all about!

🕟 Sessions begin at 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
📍 Upstairs Conference Room at The HUB (805 12th Street)

Then stick around to enjoy the Block Party from 4:00–6:30 p.m. with free backpacks and school supplies (while supplies last), community resources, registration assistance, CTE & AFJROTC demonstrations, Tiger Band, food trucks, and more!
