On Wednesday, August 19th, Murphy staff joined middle school educators from across PSJA ISD at the annual Middle School Best Practices Conference. This professional learning event provided teachers with valuable opportunities to learn, collaborate, and share ideas while exploring innovative strategies designed to engage middle school students, foster a love of learning, and support future academic success.

We are especially proud of our Murphy presenters, Mr. Bryan Banning, Mrs. Michelle Honl, and Mrs. Jeannette Guzman, who represented our campus with excellence. Their expertise, experiences, and commitment to sharing best practices helped enrich the learning of fellow PSJA educators and showcased the strong instructional leadership within our Murphy team.

🎸 PSJA ROCKS — Murphy Is Ready to Make the Greatest Hits! 🎶✨

On Tuesday, our Murphy staff joined thousands across PSJA ISD for the annual PSJA Staff Convocation. Together, we’re gearing up to make the greatest hits of the 2026–2027 school year.

We left inspired, energized, and ready to write the next chapter of student success by leading with care, our golden rule. PSJA proudly celebrated its A‑Rated district status. 🎉🙌🏻

A huge shoutout to our very own counselor, Mr. Juan Garza, for his incredible performance on stage alongside fellow PSJA educators, and special guest speaker, Elias “Bones” Rodriguez. Murphy was represented with pride!
