Por favor, tómense un momento para revisar la siguiente información importante sobre los procedimientos para dejar y recoger a los estudiantes. ¡Gracias por ayudarnos a mantener seguros a nuestros estudiantes Husky!💚
Dejar a los estudiantes por la mañana
•Por favor, ingrese al área de la escuela utilizando la ruta de tráfico designada que se muestra en el mapa de llegada de la mañana.
•Siga las flechas y permanezca en el carril designado.
•Los estudiantes deben bajar del vehículo únicamente en el área marcada para dejar a los estudiantes.
•Por favor, tenga a su hijo listo para bajar del vehículo cuando llegue al área de llegada, para que podamos mantener la fila en movimiento.
•Por la seguridad de todos, siga las indicaciones del personal y no rebase otros vehículos en la fila de llegada.
•Recogida por la tarde
Por favor, siga el patrón de tráfico designado que se muestra en el mapa de recogida de la tarde.

Please take a moment to review the following important information regarding morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up procedures. Thank you for helping us keep our Husky students safe!

Morning Drop-Off
• Please enter the school area using the designated traffic route shown on the morning drop-off map.
• Follow the arrows and remain in the designated lane.
• Students should be dropped off only in the marked Drop-Off Area.
• Please have your child ready to exit the vehicle when you reach the drop-off area so we can keep the line moving.
• For everyone’s safety, please follow staff directions and do not pass vehicles in the drop-off line.
Afternoon Pick-Up
• Please follow the designated traffic pattern shown on the afternoon pick-up map.
• PK3 students with siblings: Pick-up will take place in the Front of School Pick-Up Area.
• PK4–5th grade students: Pick-up will take place in the designated Gym Pick-Up Area.
• Please remain in the designated lanes and follow staff directions when entering and exiting the pick-up areas.
• Do not leave your vehicle unless instructed by a staff member.
Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and commitment to keeping our students safe. Following these procedures will help make morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up smoother and safer for everyone.💚

A Special Message from Your Principal, Mrs. Rocha…

Dear Husky Students,

Welcome back to Marcia R. Garza Elementary! Our entire Husky staff is so excited to welcome you back and begin this new school year with you! We have been preparing for your return with lots of excitement, and we are ready to greet you with big smiles, positive energy, and open hearts.

I hope you are ready for a year filled with learning, laughter, friendship, and wonderful memories.

This year, our theme is “Every Husky is a No. 1 Hit!” Each and every one of you is special, talented, and capable of doing amazing things. Just like a great song has its own unique rhythm and sound, each of you brings something special that makes our Husky family shine!

As your principal, I want you to know that I believe in you. I will always encourage you to Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Excellent. Together, we will work hard, support one another, and celebrate every success.
