The MSS team is wrapping up an amazing week of co-facilitating with our NASA PLACES team as we led our virtual Design Institute. This was the culminating event for our grant that brought together incredible NASA Science Activation partners for several days of learning, collaboration, and designing. Together, we explored how place-based, data-rich teaching and learning can connect teachers' and students' locally relevant experiences to global Earth systems, using NASA data and resources to deepen understanding and spark curiosity.

Looking forward to more professional learning opportunities to work alongside educators as they infuse a place-based approach into their classroom data literacy instruction.
