🎭✨ WELCOME TO THE LTC FAM, MS. HANNAH MAE! ✨🎭

We are SO excited to officially introduce the newest member of the Little Theater Company team — Ms. Hannah Mae Sturges! 💕🌟

Hannah Mae is a professional AEA/SAG actor and Teaching Artist who has been working with young performers since 2020. After earning her BFA in Acting from CSU Fullerton, she has performed everywhere from The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. to Edinburgh, Scotland, Los Angeles, Memphis, New York, and even Off-Broadway! 🎭 She was also recently seen on the big screen in Freaky Tales! 🎬✨

But what made us fall in love with Hannah Mae is the JOY she brings into a rehearsal room. 💛 She believes theatre should be a safe place for young people to grow, play, explore, build confidence, and express their most authentic selves — which couldn’t be more LTC. 🥹

A NorCal girl herself, Hannah Mae grew up singing and dancing in her living room, performing in community theatre and at Sacramento Music Circus. When she isn’t doing theatre, she loves nature hikes, poetry, dancing at Hipline, and spending time with her two nieces. 🌿💃📖

In Hannah Mae’s words, finding Mrs. D and Little Theater Company felt like serendipity — and we feel exactly the same way. 💕

Some of our kiddos have already gotten the chance to work with Ms. Hannah Mae, and you’ll be seeing LOTS more of her around LTC as our Lead Teaching Artist + Associate Director! 🎉

Everyone give Ms. Hannah Mae a BIG LTC WELCOME in the comments! ⬇️💗🎭✨

WELCOME TO THE FAM, HANNAH MAE! 🌟

🎬👀 Something a little… scary is happening at LTC…

Late nights…
Endless “one more time’s”…
A cast that refuses to stop until it’s just right… 😱🎭

Okay okay — not actually a horror movie 😅
But the amount of work, dedication, and heart these performers are putting into SpongeBob the Musical is seriously next level. 💛

Behind every show is this — the rehearsals, the teamwork, the growth, and all the little moments that turn into something really special on stage.

We promise the final show is full of joy, laughter, and so much talent… not horror 😉✨

🎭✨ One of the most special parts of Little Theater Company is getting to grow with our kids.

Not just watching them perform — but watching them find themselves. 💛

This is part of our series highlighting how theater helps build confidence, character, and creativity — and today, we’re so proud to share Lulu’s story.

✨ Meet Lucy

When Lucy first came to LTC at just 5 years old, we could immediately see it — the spark, the strength, the talent she had inside of her. She just needed a place to let it shine. 🌟

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of watching Lucy grow in the most incredible ways. From learning how to read, to discovering how to channel her emotions and bring them to life on stage, she has truly embraced every part of the process.

And now, at 9 years old, she stands on stage with confidence, presence, and joy.

From playing Molly to stepping into the spotlight as Junie B. front and center, Lucy is a beautiful example of what happens when a child is given the space, support, and opportunity to grow. 🎭

We are so proud of the performer — and the person — she is becoming. 💛

This is why we do what we do. Using the teachings of theater to help build kids confidence, character and creativity one show at a time! ❤️

It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of Kumu Lani. 💔

Many people may not know this part of our story, but Little Theater Company truly began because of her generosity.

In the early days of LTC, when we were just getting started, Kumu Lani graciously opened the doors of Halau Makana to us. She welcomed our little theater group into her space and gave us a place to rehearse, grow, and dream. At that time, we were still figuring out what LTC could become.

Because of her kindness and belief in community, LTC had a home when we needed one most.

There is no question that without Kumu Lani, Little Theater Company would not be what it is today. Her generosity helped plant the seeds that have now grown into a program serving hundreds of children every year.

We are incredibly grateful for the role she played in our story, and we send our deepest love and condolences to her family, her Halau, and everyone whose lives she touched.

If you would like to support Kumu Lani’s family during this time as they prepare for her services please venmo -lulio and/or follow

Please keep her family and community in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you, Kumu Lani, for opening your doors and your heart to us. We will always remember your kindness. 🌺

This is the heart behind Little Theater Company. 💛

What started as one school musical and 13 summer registrations has grown into a community of over 200 young performers each year.

LTC was built on a simple belief:
✨ Every child deserves to feel seen.
✨ Every child deserves to feel confident.
✨ Every child deserves a stage.

And we’re just getting started. 🎭
