Our baby chicks are almost grown up! Now we're deciding on names. I'm voting for "Professor Parkour", "Spooderman", and "Speckle-T" to win 🤣🐔🐥🌿

The rain is no problem for our Young Naturalists! It just means we get to practice our fire building and cozy up with yummy snacks and furry friends.

This new after school session begins the week of 10/23.

AYNC outdoor education programs are more than just "being outside". We take care in building a youth educator team who are passing on a wide variety of skills and experiences relevant to local ecology, bushcraft, and arts and crafts, to name a few.

To further support our young community members, we train our instructors with 2 priorities in mind: Belonging and Nature Connection. These are 2 important developmental tasks of childhood. Our goal is to help kids experience deep and lasting connection to the wild, natural world and belonging within a community of peers.

Its our hope your kids will have this opportunity, too! Please reach out if finances are a barrier. We are partnered with the Alameda Natural Grocery who have generously donated scholarship funds to help every kid have a nature education.
