Lettuce celebrate the return of the veggie burger! Students said it was un-beet-able.
Educating students to become exemplary citizens of the world with H.E.A.R.T.
The Alachua Learning Academy is a public charter school in Alachua County, charging no tuition or fees. We believe that our small school size combined with creative and inspired teachers results in higher student engagement and truly effective learning. This gives students an opportunity to meet their potential in interpersonal relationships and academic studies.

Check out some pictures from last weekend's The Big Event Volunteer day at ALA! The Big Event is a huge citywide day of service led by University of Florida students to serve the Gainesville community.
Thank you The Big Event - UF for sending amazing volunteers from Alpha Phi at the University of Florida! They helped us tremendously and worked hard to beatify our campus! We are grateful to have been invited to participate in this event and to be able to host these great volunteers.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Lowe's Home Improvement in Alachua for their generous donation of garden soil, mulch, garden hose and nozzle to support the permaculture garden at Alachua Learning Academy!
Because of their support, our students will be able to participate in hands-on garden projects where they will learn how to grow and care for their own plants. We hope this will help students better understand where food comes from while also building responsibility, teamwork, and an appreciation for nature.
We are incredibly grateful to have community partners like Lowe’s who help make meaningful learning experiences possible for our students. Thank you for investing in our school and helping to grow the leaders of future!
A special thank you to ALA-parent Mr. Nimai Pacheco who helped facilitate this generous donation!
