🌴 Spring Break Reminder 🌴

All Alachua County Public Schools will be closed Monday, March 16 through Friday, March 20 for Spring Break. District offices will also be closed during this time.

Students and staff will return to school on Monday, March 23.

We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable break! ☀️

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Lowe's Home Improvement in Alachua for their generous donation of garden soil, mulch, garden hose and nozzle to support the permaculture garden at Alachua Learning Academy!

Because of their support, our students will be able to participate in hands-on garden projects where they will learn how to grow and care for their own plants. We hope this will help students better understand where food comes from while also building responsibility, teamwork, and an appreciation for nature.

We are incredibly grateful to have community partners like Lowe’s who help make meaningful learning experiences possible for our students. Thank you for investing in our school and helping to grow the leaders of future!

Winter Expo - Save The Date

Come join us in the evening of Friday, December 5th for our annual Winter Expo in-person at ALA! There will be on-stage student performances and presentations.

All ALA families are invited and encouraged to attend this incredible event starting at 5:45pm!

Alachua Learning Academy will be closed from Monday, November 24th thru Friday, November 28th, 2025 for Student/Teacher Holidays and Thanksgiving.

In observance of Veterans Day, all Alachua County Public Schools and district offices will be closed Tuesday, November 11.
