⚡️ CCA ALUMNI COMING BACK TO POUR INTO THE NEXT GENERATION!

We were proud to welcome back two CCA alumni, Reid Van Zandt and Josiah Turner, who are now putting their skills to work with Summit Electrical Construction.

They took time to come back to CCA, connect with our current electrical students, and share what life looks like after graduation. There’s nothing better than seeing our students come full circle and return to motivate the next generation of craftsmen.

This is what CCA is all about — training students, building careers, and creating Champions who come back to build the next generation.

🔨 DAY ONE. THE STANDARD IS SET. 🦺🔥

Champions Craft Academy is officially back for Year Two!

What a way to start the school year! From the moment our students arrived, you could feel the energy, excitement, and opportunity in the room.

Today was about more than the first day of school. It was about welcoming a new class into a culture built on hard work, safety, discipline, professionalism, craftsmanship, and accountability.

Our students are stepping into programs that can lead to real careers and real opportunities in the skilled trades — Electrical, Industrial Fabrication, Building Construction, HVAC, and Plumbing.

Year One proved what CCA could do.
Year Two is about raising the standard.

We’re ready. Our instructors are ready. Our industry partners are ready.

And most importantly, our students are ready.

The next generation of skilled trade professionals starts right here.

From Alabaster to Mobile… Alabaster City Schools is making an impact across Alabama! 🔥

This week, the Champions Craft Academy team is proud to be attending the Alabama CTE Summer Professional Development Conference in Mobile. One of the coolest moments has been seeing our students featured throughout the conference—on banners, displays, and promotional materials that showcase the future of Career and Technical Education.

It’s a reminder that what we’re building at CCA is being recognized across the state.

At Champions Craft Academy, we’re not just preparing students for careers—we’re setting the standard for workforce development through industry partnerships, hands-on training, and real-world opportunities.

The reach of CCA continues to grow, and we’re just getting started.

At Champions Craft Academy, we’re proud to prepare the next generation of skilled trades professionals who are learning the value of hard work, craftsmanship, and service. From the classroom to the job site, our students are helping shape the communities we call home.

As we wrap up another great week at Champions Craft Academy and head into the Fourth of July weekend, we’re proud to see our students continuing to put their skills to work in the field.

This week we had the opportunity to stop by and check on Luke McCammon and Roger Hernandez as they continue gaining valuable hands-on experience during their summer internships with Cahaba Maintenance & Construction. There’s no better classroom than a real job site, and these young men are representing CCA with hard work, professionalism, and a willingness to learn every day.

We’re incredibly proud of our students for taking advantage of these opportunities and building the future of our skilled workforce.

A special thank you to Cahaba Maintenance & Construction for investing in the next generation of tradesmen and for providing our students with meaningful, real-world experience.

Another great day visiting one of our outstanding industry partners, C&B Piping!

We had the opportunity to see Industrial Fabrication student Jayden Green putting his skills to work during his summer internship. There’s nothing better than seeing our students applying what they’ve learned in the classroom on real job sites alongside experienced professionals.

We were also proud to catch up with Gavin Barwick and Jordan Rouse, two members of our CCA Class of 2026 who are now working full time at C&B Piping. Their success is a testament to what can happen when students commit to the process and industry partners invest in the next generation.

A huge thank you to C&B Piping for believing in our students and helping build the future of the skilled trades. This is exactly what Champions Craft Academy is all about!

Today we had the opportunity to see our students putting the skills they’ve learned at Champions Craft Academy to work in the field.

Mayte Gallegos and Uzel Colin have been working with Summit Electrical since June, gaining valuable hands on experience and continuing to grow as future electricians.

It was also great to catch up with two members of our Class of 2026, Josiah Turner and Reid Van Zandt, who officially signed with Summit Electrical in May and are already building their careers in the industry.

A huge thank you to Summit Electrical Construction for believing in our students, investing in workforce development, and helping shape the next generation of skilled trades professionals. Partnerships like this are changing lives and strengthening our community
