Meet Luke McCammon, a second-year senior in Industrial Fabrication at Champions Craft Academy.

Two years of learning, getting hands-on, and putting in the work. Now, Luke is preparing to take the next step toward his future in the skilled trades.

At CCA, our students aren’t sitting on the sidelines. They’re getting their hands dirty, developing real skills, and learning what it takes to succeed in the field.

🔥 ELITE IS A CHOICE.

Today was an E-Day at CCA, meaning students had the day off. But some of our Industrial Fabrication seniors had a different plan. 💪

Instead of staying home, these young men and women chose to show up, put in FOUR HOURS of work, and sharpen the skills that will separate them from the competition.

Nobody forced them to be here. Nobody made them put in the extra work. They made that choice themselves.

The trades reward those who show up, put in the work, and never stop getting better. These seniors understand that becoming elite means going beyond what is required.

🔥 NO SHORTCUTS. NO EXCUSES. JUST WORK.

This is Champions Craft Academy. This is the standard. THIS IS ELITE. 🛠️

A big thank you to Mr. Tyler and Mr. Will Richardson with Father Nature Landscapes of Birmingham for coming out to Champions Craft Academy and pouring into our students during this week’s safety meeting.

Our students got more than just a safety lesson. They spent time going over blueprints, learning how to read and understand plans, and getting hands-on with a laser level.

This is what makes CCA different. We bring industry professionals into the Academy to give our students real-world knowledge and skills they can take straight to the jobsite.

Thank you, Father Nature, for continuing to invest in the next generation of skilled trade professionals. We appreciate you! 👊🏼

SOLID GROUND | Building Men Beyond the Trades

This morning at 6:30 AM, our young men voluntarily showed up early for our first SOLID GROUND monthly meeting, ready to learn from the wisdom and life experiences of our instructors. Nobody made them be there. They chose to show up, invest in themselves, and grow.
We opened with Proverbs 10:4, discussing the importance of hard work, diligence, discipline, and understanding that the effort we put in today helps shape the opportunities we have tomorrow.
Today's conversation went far beyond the trades. We talked about character, integrity, responsibility, faith, and what it truly means to become a good man.
At CCA, our mission goes beyond teaching a trade. We have a responsibility to help shape young men who will become strong husbands, fathers, leaders, and positive influences in their communities.
A HUGE thank you to our CCA team for coming in early and pouring into our young men. Your wisdom, leadership, and willingness to invest in their lives make a difference that goes far beyond the classroom.
The skills they learn will build their careers. The wisdom they gain will help build the men they become.
This is what SOLID GROUND is all about. Building young men who stand firm in their values, lead with character, and understand that becoming a good man matters just as much as becoming a skilled tradesman.
