To commemorate the centennial anniversary of Thompson High School, Alabaster City Schools invites all former faculty and staff members to a special birthday celebration. Invited guests include those who worked in elementary, intermediate, middle and high schools in Alabaster, as well as those who taught or worked at Alabaster High School before it closed in the late 1960’s.
This event will be held on Sunday, April 10 from 2-4pm in the Thompson High School Cafeteria. Tours of the new Thompson High School campus will be available. Please enter the building through the rotunda or the back entrance near the cafeteria.

Thompson High School opened its doors on October 3, 1921, as part of the Shelby County School System. The first class graduated in spring 1922.

We had numerous paid for t-shirts that did not get picked up at the 4:00-6:00 pickup today. We will have those shirts at the football game THIS FRIDAY as well as the Alumni Social event!
