The University of Akron Dance Team and Cheerleaders made it down to Daytona, Florida! They both had great practices today and are ready to compete tomorrow!!

WE ARE READY!!! Our Nationals Preview Show went GREAT yesterday! Thank you so much to all of our family, friends, and fans who could make it out to the performance, we GREATLY appreciate it!! LOOK OUT Daytona beach, here we come!!!

HEY EVERYONE!! It's that time of the year again! The UNIVERSITY OF AKRON DANCE TEAM will be competing in the NDA Collegiate Championship next week in Daytona beach, Florida!! BUT, before they leave, you have a chance to preview their Nationals routine! Tomorrow, April 6th, they will be performing their nationals routine for friends, family, and fans at the James A Rhodes Arena. The doors will open at 12:30pm and the performance will start at 1:00pm. After the performance will be a "SEND OFF" party, where you get to mingle with the team and enjoy some food and beverages. So come on out and SUPPORT your UNIVERSITY OF AKRON DANCE TEAM!! GO ZIPS!!!

Akron dance team during their two-a-days week training for Nationals! Had a different theme for each day for a little team bonding.

UNIVERISTY OF AKRON SPIRIT TEAM FUNDRAISER!!

The University of Akron Dance Team and Cheerleaders will be having a fundraiser at the Barley House in Akron on Friday, April 4th from 7-9:30pm. Tickets are $22 each. Bring the ticket with you to the Barley House and receive a wristband. The wristband allows you to eat all you want during the two and a half hours of the fundraiser. This includes drinks. The longer you are there, the more food and drinks you get!! So come and show your support as both teams are raising money to compete at the NCA/NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida!! The University of Akron Dance Team is headed to West Lafayette, Indiana for the NCAA Tournament this weekend to cheer on the Akron Zips Woman's Basketball Team!! They take on Purdue tomorrow at 1:30pm. LETS GO ZIPS!!!
