I didnt realize until today how my house is filled with the speaking of American English, Tagalog, Arabic and Italian everyday. It is normal to hear some French, Chinese, and Korean weekly. I cant speak well any of these languages but they are a part of my everyday experiences. God has opened so many doors. This Sunday is a day to Praise and give thanx that I can experience so many cultures.

This week has been a wet one. Learning to swim and just hang out at the pool or kayaking. I wish this could happen every week:)

"Wealthy Americans take three vacations a year and fly economy."
I have been blessed these past 6 or seven years to beable to serve my international friends and students. Taking them on trips to see the Real America and then going to the famous tourist locations is a wonderful experience.
I hear from them," All we get to do is associate with other international students.
With you, Steve. We talk to Americans and experience their lives!" This has been a blessing for all of us.

Last week was a great time to celebrate our American 4th of July! We went to a big parade of around 10 thousand spectators and over 120 participants. We then headed that afternoon to the BBQ Fest downtown and ate some great food and watched at night a great fireworks display after hearing the symphony play patriotic songs! So tired and safe too:)
