Does anyone in Springfield Band remember going to the Browns stadium for a football game to March at halftime? Ninth or tenth grade. The Browns were playing Green Bay and Bart Starr was their quarterback.

Unfortunately, the class of 1971 lost another classmates a year ago, and it was just brought to our attention today. Condolences to the family of Pam Wiese Gates.

Congratulations to 1971 classmate Laurie Lewis Cochran on being the second female inducted into the SHS Hall of Fame at the 50+ Alumni Luncheon today, attended by close to 250 people. Thanks for all your years of community service!
