We changed our profile picture for Relay For Life of The University of Akron. Join us in the fight to cure cancer by creating a team for Relay For Life, which will be held on April 20-21 at Lee Jackson Track. The next team meetings will be Monday October 31st and Tuesday November 1st at 7:15pm in Room 312 of the Student Union. Attend one of these meetings to find out more about Relay For Life. Congrats to Rachel Manthe, senior undergraduate biomedical engineering student at The University of Akron! She has been selected to receive a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship! Look out Nobel Prize winners, a U.S. Secretary of Energy and the founder of Google.
Biomedical engineering student receives National Science Foundation research fellowship : The Univer Rachel Manthe presented a poster titled "Fabrication of nanofibrous membranes via electrospinning of novel L-tyrosine based polyurethane" at a meeting of the Microscopy Society of Northeastern Ohio, hosted at UA.
