At Akron Career Tech High School, we know that success is about more than academics and career skills. It’s about supporting the whole student.

Our Healing Center gives students a safe, supportive space to pause, reflect, refocus, and work through challenges. Whether a student needs a quiet place to collect themselves, work on an SEL project, or reflect on a difficult situation, the goal is always the same: help students reset and return ready to move forward.

With the support of our teachers and staff, the Healing Center helps students build self-awareness, manage emotions, make positive choices, and develop skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

At ACT, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to reflect, reset, and grow.
