Biology can be such a hoot! And not just for our department...
Students from the Myers School of Art recently pulled some artistic inspiration from this Great Horned Owl - just one of the many specimens in the department of Biology - The University of Akron's antique taxidermy collection! These artworks and more nature-inspired pieces are on display now outside the biology department office.

Our annual student-led Climate Symposium was a wonderful day of celebrating nature, building community, and fostering creativity! It would not have been a success without support from the Myers School of Art and the Dept. of Biology - The University of Akron. Thanks to everyone (including Zippy) who stopped by to join the fun!
