Tomorrow’s the day! Join us Saturday, September 5, at 10:40 a.m. for the Buchtel CLC Tim Flossie Stadium Renovation Ribbon Cutting at 1040 Copley Rd.

Come celebrate the new stadium improvements and tour the new facilities including the press box, concessions, restrooms and track. The ribbon cutting will be followed by the Buchtel vs. Lake Catholic home opener at 2 p.m.

School is officially underway! From reconnecting with friends to meeting new teachers and settling into new routines, our middle school scholars kicked off the school year with energy and excitement. We’re looking forward to all they’ll accomplish this year as we continue preparing for 180 years of Akron Public Schools!

Think, build and create! Akron-Summit County Public Library is bringing hands-on STEAM Adventures to grades K-3 this fall, with activities ranging from LEGO challenges and jewelry design to science experiments, stomp rockets and creative art.
