Dreams Academy is providing quality summer programing to help build leadership skills and qualities for young teenage boys and girls. Plus, they’ll have exposure to adult professionals, enriching field trips, and countless opportunities for personal growth. Next Week is Teacher Appreciation Week!

We want to do our part and show thanks to our educators who work hard and deserve more recoginition. With the current climate of professionals leaving the education field and choosing to work other places, it becomes more important to show thanks to the brave, bright individuals who enjoy and excel as teachers.

The 2023-2024 school year is quickly coming to an end and it is time to start thinking about summer plans for our children. I have found a few local summer programs that may be of interest.

Students who participate in afterschool/summer program’s statistically do better in school than students who do, let’s give our students an advantage and keep them active.

Shoutout to the Guys and Gals Community partnership for putting together the Hoop 4 Coop youth fair. It was a pleasure to be a part of, we got to meet new faces in the community and learned about some businesses and organizations that we could partner with. Eagle Elementary is committed to building and strong community.

Join us this weekend at Hyre CLC, Eagle Elementary will be participating in the Youth Health Fair. Youth in attendance will receive a free physical, free food, and a chance to win prizes. I hope to see many of you there.

If you looking for something fun to do this weekend come to Hardesty Park for the Lil Kings and Queens Childcare Free Easter Egg Hunt. Lil Kings and Queens is a locally owned 3-star rated childcare program. They offer care for infants, kindergarten preparation, as well as a summer program. Enrollment information will be available at the event!
