The Case PTA brings teachers, administrators, parents, guardians, and community businesses and leaders together in person and online in support of every child. We organize family-friendly events, raise funds, write grants, support teachers’ needs in the classroom, and volunteer to mentor and tutor students – all to build confidence in and bring joy to our children and community.

Had an amazing time at this year's Race for Case 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk! Thank you to our runners and walkers, Akron Promise City Series Neighborhood Races, , Sandel Law Firm, Tom and Shelley Koutnik, Jen Victor and all of the amazing teachers and staff who were a part of this inspiring day. Y'all rock. Let's do it again next year! And shout-out to Akron Public Schools Boardmember Montgomery for running - he placed, too y'all! 💯

Please join us this year for our 14th annual running of the Race for Case. Race for Case is a community-oriented event benefiting all students of Case CLC. Profits from the event have helped us build our permanent greenhouse on school grounds and fund a set of digital microscopes, a VR system, and school events. Help us continue our tradition of successfully funding projects that provide our students with equipment and opportunities many APS students miss out on.
The Race for Case is just one of the Neighborhood races in the Akron Promise City Series, held to support community organizations, promote youth opportunity, explore Akron, and encourage a healthy lifestyle.
14th Annual Race for Case The 14th Annual Race for Case is on Saturday May 16, 2026. It includes the following events: 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run.
